Surf Day Posters

Three friends who love surfing and making things create award winning campaign, for free.

OVERVIEW

Harbour Surfboards has a 50 year history of creating hand crafted boards. Each one a unique design, a thing of beauty and in many ways a work of art. Owning one comes with pride, appreciation and in some cases, even love. Harbour Surf Day was started as way to celebrate that. This campaign takes a look at the affection real owners have for their board and entices others to come and fall in love for themselves.

A week before the event, the posters were published across social and printed as store window displays to tease interest. They were instantly loved, shared and discussed within the community.

RECOGNITION

We did the work for free because we love surfing, creating things, and Rich Harbour trusted us—his nod was the most rewarding. We also entered the campaign into local and regional AAF show and received multiple awards.

The posters continued to stay in the store windows long after the event.

Our creative approach was simple…authenticity is essential.
